OSHA and ANSI Require Operator Training Before Use
Mobile Elevated Work Platforms — including scissor lifts, boom lifts, vehicle-mounted platforms, and rotating aerial devices — are among the most commonly used equipment on construction, telecom, and industrial job sites. They are also a leading source of serious injuries and fatalities when operators are untrained or undertrained.
OSHA 1910.67 and 1926.453 require that operators be trained and evaluated on the specific type of MEWP they will use before operating it. ANSI A92 standards (A92.2, A92.22, A92.24) further define training, familiarization, and evaluation requirements that were significantly updated in 2018 — many employers are still operating under outdated training that doesn't reflect current ANSI requirements. P3 Safety Solutions delivers ANSI A92-current training for employers across Arizona and the Southwest.

Built for Employers Who Operate at Height
Our aerial lift and MEWP training is used by construction contractors, telecommunications tower crews, utility companies, solar and wind installers, warehouse and distribution operations, manufacturing facilities, and any employer whose workers operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, or vehicle-mounted platforms. OSHA requires documented operator training before any employee operates a MEWP — a single uninspected incident can result in citations, fines, and liability exposure that far outweigh the cost of training your crew properly.
