Safety Professional

Full-Time Construction West Valley of Phoenix, AZ

P3 Safety Solutions, LLC is hiring a full-time Safety Professional to support active commercial and industrial construction projects across the West Valley of Phoenix. This is a direct employment position with P3 Safety Solutions. Depending on project needs, this role may be embedded full-time on a single active site or travel between multiple project sites in the West Valley. There is strong potential for long-term, ongoing placement based on performance and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site walks, safety observations, and field documentation across active work areas
  • Review daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Safe Plans of Action with field crews and superintendents
  • Monitor compliance with high-hazard program elements: working at heights, energy isolation and lockout/tagout, human-equipment interface, cranes and hoisting, confined spaces, trenching and excavation, temporary structures, and traffic control
  • Facilitate toolbox talks and daily pre-task safety planning
  • Exercise Stop Work Authority for any condition presenting imminent danger
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and property damage, and prepare written reports on the required timeline
  • Coordinate directly with the general contractor’s on-site safety representative and designated Competent Persons
  • Enforce PPE compliance and monitor fall protection, lockout/tagout, and heat illness prevention programs

Required Qualifications

  • Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health certification
  • Minimum 2 years of construction safety experience (commercial or industrial preferred)
  • Working knowledge of 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • Ability to pass a 12-panel drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between West Valley project sites
  • Strong written communication skills for daily reports, JHAs, and incident documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Designated Competent Person experience in two or more of: fall protection, excavation, electrical, confined space, rigging, or scaffolding
  • OSHA 500/510 Outreach Trainer certification
  • CHST, CSP, ASP, or CIT credential, or actively working toward one
  • Experience with large general contractor hazard programs and project-based safety reporting software
  • Electrical, data center, or large distribution or warehouse construction experience

Employment Structure

This is a direct employment position with P3 Safety Solutions, LLC, not an outside staffing agency. Compensation is hourly and depends on experience and certifications, plus mileage and travel per P3 policy where applicable. Schedule is full-time, aligned with active project operating hours in the West Valley of Phoenix.
