Online Respirator Training
OSHA 1910.134(k) training, taken online at your own pace. $75 per person.
OSHA requires respirator users to be trained before use and every year after that (29 CFR 1910.134(k)). This is that training, sold on its own: an online course each person takes whenever they like, with nothing to schedule and nobody to meet. One fee covers every respirator type that person wears.
Training is not a fit test. They are separate requirements, and this page
covers only the training. If your people also need to be fit tested, or need a medical
evaluation, book a fit-testing appointment instead — you can
add the training there in the same booking.
Common Questions
- When do we get the course?
- We set your course up against the respirators you listed and email the access link. That is a person doing it, not a robot, so expect it the same business day — and call 602-730-0422 if you need it faster than that.
- How long does it take?
- Under an hour for most people, and it does not have to be done in one sitting. Each person works through it on their own device whenever suits them.
- Does this cover the fit test?
- No. Training and fit testing are separate OSHA requirements, and a fit test has to be done in person on the exact respirator each person wears. Book a fit test if you need one.
- Can I buy it for a crew?
- Yes. Set the number of people, pay once, and we send one link that covers everyone you paid for. There is nothing to schedule and everyone can start at a different time.
- How often does this need doing?
- Annually, and again whenever the workplace or the respirator changes, or somebody's knowledge looks short — 1910.134(k)(5). We will remind you before yours is due.
