Active Shooter & Workplace Violence

Description: Because active shooter situations are often over within 10 to 15 minutes, before law enforcement arrives on the scene, individuals must be prepared both mentally and physically to deal with an active shooter situation. This class will give guidance and suggestions drawn from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other agencies, which will help an employer and employee be more prepared in such an event. Competent Rigger Training

Confined Space Entry Awareness

Control of Hazardous Energy (Affected)

Description: Affected workers may be exposed to injuries from the unexpected energization, startup of the machinery or equipment, or release of stored energy in the equipment. The Lockout/Tagout standard requires the adoption and implementation of practices and procedures to shut down equipment, isolate it from its energy source(s), and prevent the release of potentially hazardous energy. ES&H Leadership Workshop

Minimum: 5 Attendees
Description: The purpose for this group workshop is to establish ES&H leadership abilities for supervisory and management staff. The workshop is designed to provide the participants the tools and techniques used to reduce incidents, behavior-based safety management, and their respective EH&S roles and responsibilities. The primary attendees should include foremen, general foremen, and superintendents. Another non-manual personnel may attend at the direction of their manager.
Fall Protection with Principles for Climbing and Rescue

Description: This course was developed for the worker who may climb structures or ladders and works at elevation. Hazardous Communication with GHS

NWSA Practical Examination

Description: NWSA representatives initially defined two levels of telecommunications tower technicians for crew members who perform general construction activities with an emphasis on tower system installation, modification, maintenance, and inspection of support structures used in telecommunications, including personal wireless communications, public safety communications, utility networks, and broadcast. These two levels were defined as Telecommunications Tower Technician 1 & 2.
Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift)

Competent Tower Climber
and Rescue Training

Description: Developed for experienced climbers who have supervisory level responsibilities on the job site. This course augments the authorized tower climber course through the following: applicable rescue regulations; fall hazard assessments and fall protection procedures; detailed inspection of fall protection and rescue equipment components and systems; determining when systems are unsafe; calculated clearances for various systems; fall protection rescue procedures and the selection and use of non-certified anchorages.
